전시노트

지극히 주관적일 수 있는 추상화는 곧 작가만이 가지고 있는 다양한 내면의 이야기이다. 붓이라는 하나의 도구를 통해 작가는 순간의 감정과 호흡을 추상작품으로 풀어낸다. 

화폭에서 유동하는 물감 덩어리들이 서로 뒤섞여 관계하며 어우러지는 회화 속 풍경은 우리가 자연 안에 태어나고 실존하며 관계하는 일상의 풍경과도 다르지 않다.

그러한 풍경은 흐르는 강물 위 풍경처럼 파장의 번짐으로, 동시에 우연적 사건의 움직임들로 가득 차있다. 

작가 장승호는 그 흐름의 감정과 호흡에 몸을 맡긴다. 작가는 이번 전시를 통해 자신의 감정과 호흡을 관객들과 공유하고 소통하고자 한다.

 

The world of abstract art, is a story hidden deep within the artist to express their full subjectivity towards the world. 

The artist releases their instantaneous images of their emotions and perspective through the brush. 

The rather insignificant vortexes of paint forming harmony through mixing and leaving their mark on their own world is no different from how we, as humans come from nature and live our daily lives. 

Such signs of life flow through randomness and coincidence to create an ever-changing sense of time. 

Artist Seung-Ho Jang gives himself in to such flow and aims to share his emotions and perspectives through his work .
